Stand roughly 4 feet away from the cedar while washing. Use a cleaner specifically designed for cleaning siding and always check the label to make sure it s safe for wood. As an experiment rub a clean white cloth across the unwashed siding. Rinse the siding using the pressure.

Spray grimier spots with a siding cleaner and brush. Wash the siding area with the pressure washer. Turn the hose end sprayer back to the light hose spray setting. The cloth will likely come up dark gray with a layer of fine soot.

Pressure washing will pull stain right off of wood surfaces. Step 1 put on rubber gloves. Mix 3 4 cup of oxalic acid granules and 1 gallon of hot water. Maybe that s what you are going for but if you intend to keep stain on wood don t use a pressure washer to clean it.

After scrubbing thoroughly make sure to rinse the cleaner with a garden hose. At 46 inches in. Use a spray bottle to squirt cleaner onto the grimier spots and scrub with a soft brush. Even after pressure washing you may still find that a thin layer of dirt remains on the siding.
